Architecturally correct with the latest technology.
TDL or True Divided Lite windows take us back to colonial times when glass was supplied in small rectangles, generally 9” x12”. TDL windows consist of single panes of glass that were suspended in the sash and frame with wooden sticking, thus creating that “divided lite” look. TDL single pane units are available to meet the strictest of historical applications.
Today we build units with SDL or Simulated Divided Lite. SDL is the blend of old world looks with the latest technology and energy efficiency. We preserve those historical three dimensional aesthetics while using larger sheets of insulated glass to maximize the energy efficiency. Exterior and Interior muntins are applied to the glass to create the divided lite look.
Our SDL custom fabrication capability allows us to build an almost unlimited variety of light patterns and designs. We work with your architect to create the desired look for your project. The SDL details are carried through to the production documents to insure that your product is perfectly matched and uniquely made for you.
